First books for babies and toddlers
Simple, sturdy books for very young children. This category includes board books, first word books, nursery rhymes, touch-and-feel titles, sound books, and a few gentle storybooks for ages roughly 0 to 3.
You’ll find familiar early themes like animals, counting, shapes, bedtime, cuddles, vehicles, and Christmas. A few recognisable characters appear as well, including Peppa Pig and Dr. Seuss, though stock may change.
The range is fairly mixed and still not huge, so this is a small category for now. It suits parents looking for short, easy books to read aloud, books with sounds or textures, and very simple first concepts such as ABCs, numbers, and first words.
If your child is a little older, Picture Books (3–6) usually has longer illustrated stories, while Activity Books focuses more on puzzles, drawing, and hands-on tasks rather than read-aloud books. Stock in this section may change over time.
