What’s here? This Graphic Novels category mixes a few different things: personal and literary graphic narratives, illustrated introductions to subjects like philosophy, science and economics, and some lighter comic-style books for younger readers. Stock may change.
A mixed shelf. At the moment, this is not a huge or very narrow category. You can find graphic memoir and contemporary coming-of-age work, with Alice Oseman appearing several times right now, alongside educational “Introducing” guides and some darker fiction.
There are also children’s and teen-friendly illustrated books here, including humorous diary-style and comic-heavy titles. That means this section overlaps a bit with Children’s Books, but this category stays focused on visual storytelling rather than general books for young readers.
If you want Japanese comics, see Manga, which is a separate format and tradition. For capes, Marvel and DC-style series, Superhero Comics is the more specific section. This graphic novels shelf is broader and a bit more mixed, and the selection is still fairly small for now.
